The DescriptionWilliam Wallace, who was a basic commoner with his own lands, united the clans of Scotland to fight the Sir Longshanks of England who has crippled the country with his laws and taxes. During the battles of the war with England William Wallace became a legend in his own right by his courage on the battle field. The men that faught for him saw him as a god, it is even said in the movie, through rumors, that he was 8 feet tall and could kill 4 men with one swing.
The Plot
William Wallace opposes Edward Longshanks and forms and army using the Scotish nobles and there support. Williams drive come from seeing his parents being hanged along with the majority of the nobles and leaders when he was a boy. On the battle field he developed a legend from his leadership which brought countless others to his cause.
The Bottom Line
A legend of a movie, Brave Heart gets a 10/10. Defiantly worth watching, not much else to say other than its a great movie.
